Abnormal Loads Route Planner

We are looking for a hands-on Abnormal Load Delivery and Collection Specialist to assist with the nationwide delivery and collection of wide-load Coldstores. Youll be responsible for planning and overseeing loading/unloading at customer sites, including determining the most efficient method, working with HGV drivers, and conducting site surveys.

Key Responsibilities of Abnormal Loads Route Planner:

• Perform site surveys ahead of deliveries and collections
• Assist with loading/unloading of assets using cranes, HIAB, or trailers
• Act as a company representative during sub-contract deliveries
• Complete paperwork and report any issues or opportunities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements of Abnormal Loads Route Planner:

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
• Flexibility for early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays
• Experience in escort driving, HGV driving, or operating forklifts (preferred but training available)
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently
