PE Teacher

Prospero teaching are looking for a dynamic PE teacher to join the sports department of a 'good' secondary school in Wakefield. This position is a full time and to start in October.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach KS3 and KS4 girls Physical Education.
• Plan and deliver lessons independently.
• Manage behaviour effectively.

• Hours - 08:00 - 16:00

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school.
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
• GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or '4' & above.
• Sports/ Physical Education related degree.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
