About the Role: The Business Development Manager (BDM) role at Netex is critical in driving new business growth within the eLearning sector. The BDM will focus on identifying and securing new clients, developing strategic sales plans, conducting market research, building client relationships, and implementing targeted campaigns to attract potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- New Client Acquisition: Identify, engage, and secure new clients in need of bespoke training and learning solutions. Conduct outreach and maintain a pipeline of prospective leads.
- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a strategic sales plan focused on generating new business, meeting sales targets, and expanding market reach.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing research to stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and potential market gaps to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and challenges, and positioning Netex’s solutions as the ideal fit.
- Proposal and Presentation Management: Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that address client needs and showcase the value of Netex’s learning solutions.
- Collaborative Campaign Planning: Work with the marketing team to design and implement targeted campaigns that support lead generation and brand visibility in the market.
- Pipeline Management and Reporting: Track and report on the sales pipeline, ensuring transparency in progress toward goals. Regularly update CRM systems and provide sales forecasts.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiation efforts with clients to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that meet both client needs and company goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from clients and the market to refine sales approaches and improve the relevance and appeal of Netex’s offerings.
- Networking and Brand Representation: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and identify potential clients.

Pay range and compensation package: Up to £60,000 per annum, DOE
