Graduate Environmental Engineer

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Environmental Engineer. The Candidate will join the Environment Team that provides services on large-scale environmental and civil engineering projects. Our teams work on complex environmental projects, pulling the right resources from across the company to support project needs. The successful candidate will develop a wide range of skills, with significant training and career possibilities and could expect to be involved in the following activities: Supervision of field activities (surveys and tests, investigations, remediation works, etc.); Monitoring and sampling of the environmental matrices (soil, groundwater, soil gas, etc.) adopting national and international recognized standards (US-EPA, ASTM, etc.); Collection of environmental data; GIS data management; Processing and interpretation of data collected on site; Preparation of environmental technical reports; Apply and encourage a high level of Health and Safety awareness and Quality management; Qualifications We are particularly looking for candidates with the following: 0-2 years’ experience in consulting company; Fluency in Italian and English; Demonstrable interest in environmental projects; Motivation, initiative, and organizational skills to work effectively in a busy multi-disciplinary environment; Flexibility to promptly respond to the changing demands of projects and programs; Good communication skills, both verbally and digitally ability to produce and understand written reports without consistent revisions; Ability to maintain good records of site-based activities; Strong attention to details; Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visits; Strong personal initiative and goal oriented; Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel; Licensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Environmental Engineering Degree What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits (voucher meals, welfare program, health insurance, public transport allowance, laptop, smartphone).
