Purchaser Intern

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Purchaser Intern will insert, update, and maintain accurate data on company systems. He/she works closely with the colleagues of the Purchasing Team. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: SAMPLES: Contact Vendors to give instructions on how to manage POs issued (grid instructions). PO follow-up: ensure SMS are delivered on time and in the right quantity. Ensure that vendors provide shipping documentation to the Logistic Dept. Shipping: Approval commercial Invoice approval. BULK PRODUCTION: Purchase Orders issuing and updating (factory & main lines). Follow up: production delivery in order to achieve the delivery on time. Booking shipping commercial Invoice approval. FOB cost plant updating based on Sourcing confirmation. Ensure that vendors provide shipping documentation to the Logistic Dept. GENERAL ACTIVITIES: Data system maintenance and updating. Requirements: High School Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Well organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment. Execution with high respect for deadlines and a good level of proactivity. Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company's success. Capability to adapt to changes and work under pressure. Attention to detail and good analytical skills. Positive attitude and team player. Good oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers. English is required for this role. MS Office package (Excel knowledge is mandatory).
