NextGen Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time Drama Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students, and facilitate their academic and personal growth. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality education while adapting to the diverse needs of students.
Duties:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback.
Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all learners.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights for improving student outcomes.Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage lesson planning, grading, and administrative tasks efficiently.
Patience and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students in a dynamic classroom setting.
Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes, including digital learning tools and resources.
A genuine passion for education, particularly drama studies, and a commitment to fostering a love of learning among students.
