Job Description

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent E&P Engineer to join our dynamic Transpire team in Manchester - on site working role.

In this role, you will support the E&P Works Package Manager by delivering E&P Works against the established programme. You will ensure all documentation is correctly prepared and in line with NR and health and safety procedures. Supporting E&P deliverables within a multidiscipline Rail environment .

This role offers you the unique opportunity to work on one of the biggest Rail projects awarded by Network Rail in the UK and join a growing E&P team.

What You'll Do:

Deliver numerous E&P projects in line with the programme budget, you will control and implement health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements, supported by full briefing. You will contribute to plan development with the Project Manager and Project Engineer, and plan day-to-day requirements of the Project Works Package to ensure effective use of all resources to minimise snagging. You will lead an installation team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties, and implement health, safety, environmental, and quality standards into construction planning and works. Assessing and mitigating all risks, including those associated with working within the railway environment, you will ensure the correct positioning and sequencing of plant and equipment for optimum use by on-site teams and personnel. You will create work package plans, task briefing sheets, and manage them through to acceptance, while working with all stakeholders to communicate requirements and build good relationships. Additionally, you will manage and compile BS7671 and other standard test results, create ITPs, and include safe switching, isolation, and re-energisation procedures through to acceptance.
