Service & Repair Technician - Exeter - Permanent £30,000 per annum
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Service and Repair Technician for their client based at their Exeter depot.
Hours of work:
37.5 hours a week
Monday - Friday 8.30am- 5.00pm
Job Role:
To service and repair the full range of Professional and Home & Garden cleaning equipment in a workshop environment, as well as perform onsite customer repairs when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Service and repair the full range of Professional cleaning equipment in both workshop and field environments.
Record all work performed, complete relevant service reports, and liaise with customers and internal office staff.
Promote and sell maintenance contracts and other accessories.
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in a satisfactory and safe condition at all times.
Control inventory of van spares.
Uphold and promote the brand at all times.
Carry out additional duties as requested by management to meet business requirements.
Attend training, meetings, and company events.
Qualifications and Experience:
3 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent, including English and Maths.
Preferably qualified in mechanical/electrical engineering.
Preferable knowledge of the service and cleaning industries.
Experience in a workshop engineering role and/or working with cleaning equipment.
IT literate.
Ability to find, diagnose, and resolve technical problems.
Good communication skills, both internally and externally with customers.
Ability to work on your own initiative.
Full UK driving license.
