We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Manager) to join our dynamic NMC NE Account team in Perth. This role offers hybrid working between home and office.

In this role, you will be the primary contact for all commercial matters within your area and working closely with Project, Finance and Delivery Manager’s. You will work closely with our finance teams to ensure full cost control of projects and with the project manager to monitor budgets and forecast.

This role offers a unique opportunity to implement commercial best practices, maximizing value while minimizing risk and cost for Amey.

What You’ll Do:

Robust commercial management of subcontractors and supply chain partners including the preparation, review and evaluation of subcontract enquiries, quotations and payments, final accounts and input to dispute resolution
Ensure Applications for Payment are submitted on time and ensure the Company recovers full entitlement for all works and variations.
Ensuring timely issuing of all notices required under the Contract(s)
Support the CVR reporting process
Ensuring compliance with the Amey systems, processes and procedures to deliver post contract management

What You’ll Bring:

A strong understanding of commercial reporting and implementation, supported by your excellent stakeholder management skills.
A proven track record in a similar role will give you the confidence to be self-sufficient and work on your own initiative.
It is desirable you will have previous experience in the civil engineering industry to be considered for this role.
