Live in Lifestyle Assistant / Support Worker to a Young Person at Home
Are you a recent graduate and not sure what to do next? Or are you someone with a passion for making a positive impact in others lives?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a young adult, currently living at home with her family in Bristol. Join her team of PAs who provide their personal care and independent living support.
About our Client
Our client has a diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy and is a full-time wheelchair user.
Our client is very easy going, polite and has a great sense of humour.
About the Job

You will provide our client's with personal health and social care.
This goes beyond care work and involves going for walks, coffees and other outings.
Start Date: ASAP
Working: Live-in 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Rate of Pay: £160 Per day / £ 1,120 per week worked
Location: Bristol

5.6 week's holiday pro rata.
Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
A driver is not essential for this role, but if you are, you must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you may driving our client's adapted car.
About You
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided.
You will need:
-To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
-Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
-To have a good sense of humour
-To be easy going and kind-hearted
-A mature and responsible attitude
-Good communication skills
-To be fluent in English.
-To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
-To be a non-smoker

Training and Development:Full training in the client's particular needs will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals without previous care experience. You will also have on-call support from our client coordinator team.
