Volunteering & Community Fundraising Officer

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week
Location: Hybrid, with regular travel within the South Lincolnshire region
Closing Date: January 12th 2025

We are very excited to be looking for a passionate Volunteer & Community Fundraising Officer to join the incredible team at Jerry Green Dog Rescue to build and manage relationships within the South Lincolnshire community. As part of the Volunteering and Community Fundraising team, you will work closely with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager to grow income and volunteer numbers in the local area - This will see you recruiting supporters, organizing local events, building business partnerships, and leading a network of volunteers.

This is a delightful opportunity for someone with some fundraising experience to take on a new and exciting challenge and spearhead an exciting programme, taking your career to the next level.
To be a successful Volunteering & Community Fundraising Officer, you will need:

• Experience building relationships with people, and motivated by spending time getting to know supporters and volunteers in the local area
• Experience in community and regional fundraising or volunteer engagement
• Organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a confidence in managing competing priorities effectively
