Maths Teacher - Functional Skills and GCSE
Think FE is pleased to be working on behalf of a fantastic college to recruit a passionate and committed full-time Maths Teacher.
Location: Staffordshire
Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the role:
You will design, plan, and deliver Functional Skills and GCSE Maths lessons.
You will assess and evaluate student performance, and help students to achieve their maximum potential. You’ll need to manage the performance of the students to help those who need it more, and also deal with any classroom issues.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience teaching maths (Functional skills or above)
Must hold a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, DET...)
Hold a degree in Maths (ideal but not necessary)
You’ll need to undergo and enhance DBS check before starting employment with the college as you’ll be working with under 18s
What’s on offer?
Salary ranges between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
