Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a teacher of Computing looking for a new leadership role in Kirklees in 2025?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head of Computing and ICT to join a secondary academy in Huddersfield.
This is a full-time teaching role initially offered on a long-term supply basis.
The Role
Teacher of ICT and Computing and Creative imedia
Curriculum lead for Computing and ICT
Confident, focussed and passionate about Computing and Creative Media
Outstanding subject knowledge with an ability to share this with pupils in an exciting and academically rigorous way
Excellent leadership and management skills
Working with a small department and liaising with the wider school
Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and Key stage 4 OCR National Diploma in Computer science and Creative media
The School
Small 11 to 16 secondary academy in north Kirklees, West Yorkshire.

Hold QTS Status or QTLS
Ideally, have experience as a subject leader in computer science or as second in department
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
