Construction Lecturer
Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £33,487 – £39,341 per annum
£6k Levelling Up fund in the first two years for candidates joining from industry
Think FE are working with a leading college in Northampton, seeking a Construction Lecturer to deliver engaging and effective teaching across brickwork or multi-skills. This role is open to both those currently in industry looking to move into teaching, and experienced lecturers.
Key Responsibilities
Teach and develop Construction courses (brickwork or multi-skills) in line with industry standards
Manage and tutor courses, ensuring learners meet their targets
Contribute to curriculum development, responding to industry needs
Undertake internal verification, auditing, and quality checks
Keep up to date with sector developments and best practice Skills and Experience Required
Level 3 qualification in a Construction trade (brickwork or multi-skills)
Relevant industry experience
If joining from industry, fully supported teaching qualification plus a £6k Levelling Up fund over the first two years
Teaching experience in FE is ideal but not essential
GCSE grade C or equivalent in English & Maths
Commitment to ongoing CPD Benefits
