WASTE & CLEAN WATER
Covering mainly the Wiltshire area (could extend to UK but not London or Scotland)

Our client is a thriving and in-demand civil engineering and utilities family business operating nationally. They provide a range of utility and civil engineering services. Established for more than 40 years, they are framework partners with several major household utility providers and property developers. They are now looking for a Site Manager to join the team based at Tipton.
Role Overview:
To be responsible for the installation of waste and clean water networks including pump stations and rising mains for a portfolio of Projects. This will include the management of customer relations, staff and contractors ensuring that networks are built safely, to the correct specification and to the Groups, asset owners and Client satisfaction and on programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete initial and ongoing site meetings and liaison with the Client regarding safety, technical standards and work programming.
* Initial meetings require the relevant operational / SHEQ documentation to be completed and returned within a timely manner.
* Brief Clients and site staff on the required specification and installation methods.
* Supervision that all network assets are constructed in a timely and safe manner.
* Supervision that all assets are constructed as designed and in accordance with approved methods, standards and specifications.
* Ensuring that all assets are recorded accurately and efficiently.
* Manage any direct labour or Contractors employed.
* Maintain a comprehensive and accurate site diary with photographic records.
* Provide technical advice to the Client, Customers, Contractors and employees.
* Manage productivity to ensure all works are delivered on time and to budget.
* Manage the quantities and storage of materials on the portfolio of projects to ensure waste is kept to a minimum.
* Ensure the accurate completion of incident investigation and reporting, including utility damages.
* Complete, review and record all site audits and file, accordingly, ensuring audits are all completed to the required standard.
Key Requirements:
* Extensive experience within same role, or similar within the civil engineering sector.
* A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* GCSE’s Grade 9-4 or equivalent.
* NRSWA supervisory card.
* Relevant SHEA card and/or CSCS registration.
* Confined space and deep excavation qualifications.
* Valid SMSTS competency.
* Self-driven, results-oriented, with a ‘can do’ attitude without compromising safety and/or compliance.
* Problem-Solving Skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confident, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with managers at all levels within a business.
* Ability to be proactive.
* Time management skills.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
