Graduate Teaching Assistant
School based in Kilburn, Brent
Full Time Role
Are you a recent graduate passionate about education and making a difference in young lives? We have collaborated with a school in North - West London, who are seeking talented individuals to fill multiple roles across various subjects.
Positions Available:
Maths Teaching Assistant
English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teaching Assistant
ICT/ Computer Science Teaching Assistant
Science Teaching AssistantLocation: Kilburn Park/ Queens Park
Duration: December/ January start dates available
Salary: £95 to £105 per day salary - Term Time only- Full time
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
Act as a mentor and role model for students, promoting positive behavior and academic progress.
Support students with special educational needs or English language learning requirements.
Lead extracurricular activities related to your subject area or interests.
Cover supervisory duties during staff absences, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive and stimulating learning experiences.Requirements:
A degree in the relevant subject area or a related field.
Passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subject areas and year groups.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
