Job Title: Teaching and Learning Lecturer & Coach
Location: Somerset
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
Type: Permanent
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching and Learning Lecturer & Coach to join our team in Somerset in a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver teacher training and development qualifications to internal staff and external learners as required.
Teach and assess a range of courses, including those related to teaching, assessing, and internal quality assurance, as dictated by curriculum needs.
Prepare and develop teaching materials, including schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, and other resources that support effective learning.
Maintain accurate records of student assessments, both formative and summative.
Communicate relevant examination entry details and schedules to students.
Proactively contribute to the success and ongoing development of the department and the wider organisation.
Bring extensive experience in delivering teacher training and development qualifications and courses.Essential Skills & Qualifications:
PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLs, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
5 GCSEs at Grade A* to C or grade 4 and above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications).
Knowledge and experience of a range of provision types and levels delivered within the FE sector.
Demonstrable professional knowledge of curriculum development and innovative delivery methods.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.Staff Benefits:
