School Finance Assistant | Lambeth | January 2025 start

Are you a detail-oriented individual with experience in school finance and FMS software?

An inclusive and forward-thinking school in Lambeth is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team in January 2025, with a brief handover period before Christmas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the school's Finance Officer, supporting day-to-day financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Start Date: January 2025, with handover this side of Christmas.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing invoices and processing payments.
Handling supplier and supply queries with efficiency.
Supporting the Finance Officer with administrative tasks and financial procedures.
Scope: Hands-on role assisting with operational finance; not strategic.
Essential:
Experience in school finance operations.
Proficient in FMS software (or similar) with minimal need for training.
Familiarity with invoice processing and supplier management.
Ability to adapt quickly in a busy environment.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a school setting.
Organised, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a finance team.This role is part of a team reshuffle, offering a chance to contribute to a supportive and professional environment.
