Wellington Health & Fitness Club are currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual with experience of working within the leisure or hospitality industry to join the team on a full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent basis as a Fitness Manager. Wellington Health & Fitness Club is a dual use independent private members club serving 2000 members, the local community sporting clubs as well as accommodating the College's PE and Sports programme throughout the academic year.

About the role:
The successful incumbent will be managing the fitness team, Studio Co-Ordinator and personal trainers including recruitment, training and performance management. Responsible for ensuring the operational maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and ensuring good working practices in accordance with health and safety procedures.
Key responsibilities include (Please see JD for full requirements):
- To ensure a first-class service and experience for all gym users.
- To provide safe and appropriate gym programme relevant to customers' needs and emerging fitness trends
- To actively manage a team of Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, Studio Coordinator including regular team meetings, 1-2-1's and performance development reviews
- To conduct fitness assessments with members – on occasional basis depending on medical concern or fitness.
- Monitor KPI's and manage gym budget.
