Aspiring Computer Science Teacher Program
A high-performing secondary school in Newham is searching for an Aspiring Computer Science Teacher to join them in January or sooner.
This Aspiring Computer Science Teacher Program position is perfectly suited to a recent graduate with aspirations of becoming a qualified Computer Science Teacher but keen to gain hands-on experience before committing to teacher training.
This role will involve:
Covering Computer Science lessons within your specialism
Running targeted interventions for groups of 6-8 students
Supporting a range of abilities, including students with SEN, EAL, and Gifted & Talented studentsThe school is part of an academic trust with an award-winning teacher training program. If you thrive in this role, you can apply to train as a qualified teacher via their internal training scheme. This includes a salary (or a tax-free bursary), fantastic training, and support-all leading to qualified teacher status!

Full-time position, term-time only
Initially contracted until the end of the academic year (July 2025)
£25,000 - £36,000 per annum
