Job description:
Vitaflo (International) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Supply Planner to work at our Liverpool Headquarters on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting directly into the Supply Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Building Global production plans respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location at the right time to meet customer demand whilst minimizing write off.
- Support the Supply manager to ensure that finished goods, raw materials and packaging are available to meet Customer demand.
- Contribute to Strategic (3 years +) and Tactical (18 months) Business Planning via Monthly Business Planning and the Dynamic Planning Framework
As a Supply Planner,your main responsibilities will consist of the following:
- Establisha12 month Global production plan for the Co-manufacturers
- Createa feasible production plan that respects capacity defined (available capacity)
- EstablishCommitted Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments etc
- Identifiypossible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18 month horizon
- Contribute to cross functional planning activities ensuring working within minumum and Maximum stock levels. Understanding Vitaflo MRP system (Total stock).
- Actively supports the Strategic Volume Planning process (i.e. Capex Planning)
- Working collaboratively with supply planning, logistics, customer service, external customers and suppliers to organise and take responsibility of the efficient flow of inventory
- Identify when stock is at risk of write off due to shelf life, work with Customer Service to push short dated stock out to customers & also stock control to send stock to foods banks and/or disposal, track and report to Customer Service Manager to ensure reduction in write off / wastage.
- Working with Customer Service, Demand and Supply Planning teams to manage supply constraints, whilst achieving the highest percentage possible COF.
- Call off raw materials & packaging to be used at Co-manufacturers
