Your Responsibilities

As a Part Time Student for JD Waterloo Works - Foundry Division working remotely, you will:

Learn how to identify, analyze and apply information to support issue resolution.

Develop tools to aid in data analysis and collection.

Participate in developmental assignments to gain experience.

Perform activities according to project plans and schedule.

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.

Graduation date of May 2026 or later.

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.

Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.

If local, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

What Makes You Stand Out

Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics or Actuary/Statistics; others may apply.

Understanding of various functions within a cast iron foundry.

Background in quality and process controls.

Familiar with PowerBi and data analysis software.

Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
