Job Description
Location: West Point, PA (hybrid onsite 2-3 days a week)Job Type: ContractCompensation Range: $30 - 36 per hourOur client's communications team is seeking a Communications Specialist for a long-term, ongoing opportunity. The ideal candidate will have expertise in internal organization communications and workforce engagement with diverse employee populations.The position requires a candidate who is highly adaptable and can balance multiple priorities. Key focus areas include managing and improving content across various communications channels; assisting in development and execution of site-wide campaigns, initiatives and events; and supporting issues management communications and engaging employees at all levels and divisions throughout the site.The site communications specialist partners closely with the site communications lead and colleagues across corporate (enterprise) communications, divisional communications and functional leaders at the site.Responsibilities:Holds responsibility for day-to-day management of site-wide communication channels and distributions.Creates and executes communications plans that help site colleagues understand how their role and work connects to the site, divisional and corporate strategies.Implements innovation solutions to reach both 'wired' and 'non-wired' manufacturing employees, while tailoring content to resonate with diverse areas across the workforce, from shop floor employees to managers and leaders.Develops communications materials for site events and news and creates approaches to help them engage effectively with employees.Establishes and creates written, verbal and visual content that:Reflects appropriate messages, cadence, channels and formats (i.e., leadership presentations, talking points, newsletters, video scripts and intranet content).Tailors content to resonate with diverse areas of the manufacturing divisions workforce, from shop floor employees to managers and leaders.Ensures materials and content are aligned with our company's branding guidelines and corporate messages.Ensures that site communications are implemented in a consistent and measurable manner and that communications resources are aligned to business priorities.Proactively seeks out feedback surrounding communications from site leaders and employees; shares learnings with communications partners in our manufacturing division and corporate to apply best practices and refine strategy.Cascades and aligns corporate communications, manufacturing division communications and West Point site communications to ensure consistency.Ensures best practices are shared across the site through existing programs.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years experience.Bachelor's degree.Track record of success in communications.Internal communication expertiseand external communication expertise and fluent in social media and other digital communications channels Graphic design / editing software experience / Sharepoint experience preferred.Energetic and confident communicator.Strategic thinker and hands-on individual who can take projects from concept to implementation in a team environment.Demonstrated capabilities to drive organizational change, ensure employee engagement and manage cross-functional projects.Proven track record as intelligent risk taker and creative problem solver.Demonstrated success in collaborating across functions.Excellent written and oral communications skills and attention to detail.Excellent collaborator with effective relationship and partnership skills.Maintains direction and focus through proactive, integrated planning; takes an organized, data-driven approach.Possesses passion, energy, attention to detail and enthusiasm to drive results / Self - starter.Preferred Qualifications:Experience within a highly regulated industry; deep business knowledge, solid understanding of manufacturing across a global enterprise.Experience communicating with a diverse workforce with different roles and needs (i.e., wired and non-wired employees).Experience with communications at a manufacturing site.JOBID: 1075241#LI-CELLA#LI-DC1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
