Job Description
Due to exceptional growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be working as part of a team reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. You will perform routine and more complex electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance and installation of equipment promptly to minimise changes to site operations, all within your capabilities following the site training matrix.

Maintenance Engineer Job Details;Provide a maintenance service which covers electrical and mechanical disciplinesManage routine, preventative, and planned maintenance of the plant/equipmentProvide technical support/input to projectsPerform modifications and installationsMaintain a CMMS Planned Preventative Maintenance system using SAPWork with or alongside contractors whilst installing/maintaining equipmentRespond to emergency breakdowns including finding and fixing faultsFollow all Company procedures
Maintenance Engineer Person Specification;5+ years experience in a similar rolePrevious experience in food manufacturing is essentialServed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical engineeringNVQ Level 3 Diploma in Engineering maintenance or equivalentSome knowledge of electrical systems including control systemsMechanical repairs and fault finding skillsExperience of welding and fabrication is essentialBe conversant with Health & Safety requirements and to perform tasks under current legislationUse of hand power tools
