Job Description

Our client, a global manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for an Electrical Engineer to join their team.
They pride themselves on being amongst the best in the industry and they are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to contribute to their ongoing success.
Job details:
* Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
* Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.
* Work on ways to implement improvements to prevent waste.
* Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
* Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)
* Strong Electrical maintenance background (essential)
* Previous experience working within FMCG / Food (essential)
* PLC Fault finding experience (desirable)
What’s on offer:
* Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights) 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am
* Salary - £52,000 (inclusive of shift allowance)
* Overtime available at time and a half
* Holiday allowance - 24 days + an additional 3 days for good attendance
* Pension contribution - Matched up to 8%
