Basic Function:
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering strategic IT investments. The role is responsible for leading the Integration and solution implementation for
customer service and billing operations. This leader collaborates with internal Business users, IT peers, technology vendors, and industry leaders to plan, execute, and deploy innovative technology solutions that drive enhanced levels of customer service, billing, accounting, finance, and risk performance.

Major Responsibilities:Project Management
• Leads project team of both internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of conversions and integrations
• Ensures that assigned project activities and deliverables are completed on-time, within scope and within budget
• Proactively manages resource plan to ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develops and maintains detailed I&C components of project plans to track activities and report progress
• Produces regular status reports that are audience appropriate to communicate with the project team, PMO, sponsors and steering committee
• Uses appropriate verification techniques to track, manage and communicate changes in project scope, schedule and costs on a timely basis
• Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical paths
• Works with business stakeholders, IT, and project team to prioritize activities and deliverables based on agreed scope and requirements
• Measures and communicates project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Reviews and updates RAID log on a regular basis with focus on proactively mitigating integration and conversion risks, addressing issues and escalates to management as needed
• Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors during project execution
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation as assigned by the Project Manager
Basic Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 5-10 or years of experience working within a Business and Technical Environment or 10+ years working within a Business and Technical Environment
• At least 5-10 years of demonstrated SAP S/4 project experience and in-depth understanding of its system integrations and conversions
• At least 5-10 years of demonstrated experience working as an IT project manager in a matrix environment, working with clients and 3rd parties (internal or external)
• Excellent project management skills. Demonstrated experience in organizing and initiating, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation, involving internal cross-functional personnel, contractors, and vendors using waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Other Required Competencies, Skills, Experience:
• Knowledge of the Gas Industry with demonstrated project management experience as part of an implementation is a plus
• Experience collaborating, estimating, and maintaining a detailed project plan as part of a hybrid waterfall/agile project
• Experience managing complex technical implementations requiring multiple integrations to cloud and legacy systems (point to point, middleware, real-time, batch, etc.)
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal as well as visualizations and associated tools. Demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization and effectively with both business and technical team members.
• Team player with the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities. Ability to work with field employees and vendors as well as other disciplines.
• Excellent leadership and consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
• Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity. Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise with MS Project, Office 365, JIRA, SharePoint
Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:
• Graduate degree in Information Systems or related discipline is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related technical subject
• PMI certification/training
• Experience leading in a matrix environment
• Regulated utility operations experience and knowledge a plusBenefits:
