Position: Therapy Lead
Location: Bristol, UK (BS16 1EQ)
Salary: £44,000–£50,000
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
An exciting leadership opportunity has become available for a Therapy Lead at a prestigious mental health facility in Bristol. This role involves overseeing the therapy services within a leading private inpatient and outpatient setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to service users.
The Facility
Located in a serene and historic Grade II listed building just minutes from central Bristol, the hospital provides a comprehensive range of services, including:
Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU)
Eating Disorders
Acute Care
Rehabilitation and Recovery
The facility boasts 77 beds across seven wards, complemented by day care and outpatient programmes tailored to individual needs. It is a dynamic and collaborative environment, offering opportunities to gain experience across various mental health specializations.
Your Responsibilities
As the Therapy Lead, you will:
Manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals.
Oversee the inpatient therapy provision, day care, and associated resources.
Drive business development and innovate service delivery to maximize opportunities.
Contribute to personalized treatment planning and service user outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
A qualified therapist with at least three years of experience in a similar environment.
Clear and motivational leadership skills to guide and support a diverse team.
Experience in line management or leadership (preferred) or a strong desire to develop these skills.
