Sports Lecturer - No teaching qualification required
Join the team with one of our leading colleges in Northamptonshire as a Sports Lecturer and contribute to the high standards of teaching and development within our Sport Studies Department. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports and education, committed to student development, and eager to contribute to course advancements.
Location: Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week, inclusive of weekends and evenings as required)
Salary: £27,000k-33,400k/ annum
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Higher Education Sport Therapy courses.
Assess and evaluate student work, ensuring high academic standards.
Lead course development initiatives and continuously enhance the curriculum.
Provide counselling and maintain discipline among students.
Engage in the college's recruitment efforts by attending career fairs and conventions.
Ensure all learners receive exemplary service through rigorous internal verification and quality audits.
What do you need?
Degree or equivalent in Sports Studies or Fitness.
Diploma in Teaching and Learning or equivalent, or commitment to achieve this qualification.
Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
Proven ability to teach and manage educational programmes in higher education. (ideal)
