SEN Learning Coach – Chelmsford
Position: SEN Learning Coach
Location: Chelmsford
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Contract: Part-time (3 days a week - Monday, Thursday, and Friday)
Duration: ASAP start for the entire academic year
Role Overview:
Chelmsford College is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Learning Coach to provide dedicated support for students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. This role focuses on fostering the development of independence, providing welfare assistance, and delivering academic support to enable students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning difficulties and disabilities.
Assist in the development of students’ independence and life skills.
Offer welfare assistance, ensuring students feel supported and valued.
Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver academic support and encourage progress.
Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students.Requirements:
Experience working with students with SEND or similar support roles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Commitment to promoting equality and inclusivity.
