About the Client
Our client is a leading provider of temporary site services, dedicated to supporting the construction industry. Over time, they have grown into a specialized provider, partnering with top construction and property development contractors and building an expanding portfolio of projects across the UK. The Contracts Engineer role is integral to maintaining the high standards expected by their clients.
Roles/Responsibilities
•Coordinate site activities to meet client requirements, ensuring timely and high-quality installations.
•Promote standards in safety, PPE, communication, and timekeeping among site teams.
• Participate in regional team briefings and identify new growth opportunities.
• Conduct site visits and safety inspections, ensuring a culture of zero-tolerance for non-conformities.
• Perform regional safety testing and deliver toolbox talks.
• Identify project variation opportunities and respond to client requests.
• Prepare variation quotations and obtain necessary site instructions.
• Support plant and equipment reconciliations on-site.
• Assist in the financial management of regional projects.
Qualifications
• Electrical installation qualifications and UK construction industry experience.
• Supervisory experience in M&E environments on multiple sites.
• Knowledge of RAMS, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with costing additional works.
• Full clean UK driving license.
• Proven experience managing site personnel.
• JIB graded card or equivalent qualifications.
• SSSTS or SMSTS health and safety certification.
