An exciting opportunity has arisen for strong mainstream Teaching Assistant who is happy to also work with pupils with SEN to work in a huge School with a Primary, Secondary and Sixth form. The School have classes of up to 30 pupils and are mixed with pupils with SEN.

The Role

In this role you will be working in classes of up to 30 pupils, some of these pupils within the class will have SEN. The School are looking for someone who is flexible and happy to occasionally move to different classrooms. You will also be expected to work with the pupils with SEN within the classroom.

The role will be working with the Secondary School mainly. You will work with the class teacher to support assessment and evidencing learning and create stimulating learning environments including resources and displays. The role is varied, and you will need to be adaptable, able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

The school are ideally looking for a teaching assistant with previous experience and a dedicated approach to fulfilling the needs of pupils. You must have the ability to motivate pupils towards high achievement is essential. Excellent teamwork, classroom and communication skills are vital. GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
