Mechanical Supervisor
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Hours: Monday – Friday, Full-Time 8-4.30pm, 3.30pm friday finish
Salary: £55,000k
Project Partners are now on the look for a Mechanical Supervisor to come and join a thriving team in Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a full-time opportunity, and the ideal candidate will be based in and around Rugby.
Job Role:
* Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance resources to deliver excellence in plant reliability in the designated area of the plant whilst meeting safety, health, environmental and financial targets.
* Enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance
* Supervise and coordinate the mechanical maintenance plan
* Collaborate with the Planning Department to ensure suitable parts; labour and equipment are available to deliver the maintenance plan.
* Ensure inspection results and actions are taken to deliver reliability targets.
* Coordinate deployment of labour, parts and equipment resources
* Manage the section mechanical team concerning productivity, motivation and discipline.
* Monitor performance of own staff and contractors and ensure jobs proceeding to plan.
* Supervise the carrying out of preventative maintenance inspections
Experience/Qualifications
* Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
* Bachelor (degree) Mechanical Engineering
* 2 years’ experience Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant
