As a Senior Security Analyst, an integral part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in pursuing the company's cybersecurity strategy across Veolia in the UK, Ireland, Finland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium. The Senior Security Analyst will support the Security Architects and wider team to run day to day BAU and projects, manage the vital responsibility of identifying, evaluating, and prioritising cyber risks within the business.

What will you be doing?
The Senior Security Analyst will work with Security Architects to take on delegated complex tasks, drive projects and proactively monitor work loads.
Act as a mentor to a team of cyber security professionals, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and support their career goals.
Maintain crisis communication plans, provide timely updates during security incidents, inform legal and media teams with expert opinions, and ensure effective responses to threats and exposures.
Ensuring that customer data and systems are protected from cyber threats, and that customer confidentiality, integrity, and availability are maintained at all times.
Collaborating with Security Architects and wider Digital Business teams to understand their specific security requirements and concerns, and tailoring cyber security solutions to meet their needs.
Ensuring that cyber security solutions are designed and implemented with sustainability in mind, considering factors such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental impact.
Developing and implementing sustainable cyber security policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and standards, such as ISO 27001.
What are we looking for?
Strong knowledge of enterprise IT architecture.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically.
Strong problem-solving ability with excellent communication skills.
Keen to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience of performing risk assessments or audits.
Managed security or critical incidents.
Experience supervising a team.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Professional certifications within the security or related fields an advantage.
