Job Description
Marketing Executive - Croydon / Carshalton - Salary £30,000 pa - £33,000 pa depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 4 days in office 1 day work from home
An exciting opportunity for a creative, innovative and driven Marketing Executive to join a leading Food Brand and assist with the development and execution of the marketing plan. This is a new role created to underpin current and future growth.
Duties of the Role:
* Work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver the strategic brand vision;
* Focus on creating, implementing and executing B2B and B2C Marketing Plans;
* Ongoing evaluation of the Marketing Plan, review Marketing Analytics, making adjustments to the Plan to maximise ROI and effectiveness;
* Identify and scope out new marketing opportunities;
* Write effective copy and create digital content that will engage, enthrall and resonate with the customer;
* Help develop the consumer proposition, including: product, packaging, price and commercial considerations;
* Develop Marketing materials and Social Media communications that will drive brand awareness, engagement, product penetration and help increase product listings;
* Monitor, measure and report on promotional activities;
* Create content for Social Media, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram;
* Work closely with the Marketing Manager in designing and delivering an Email Marketing campaigns that are consistent, engaging and permission based;
* Be involved with web development, trade shows, public relations, marketing events;
* Maintain knowledge of competitor activity, marketing trends, developments and best practices;
* Work closely with the Sales team to ensure the Marketing plan is contributing effectively to the overall commercial plan.
The Person
* Previously worked in a similar generalist Marketing role, with 18 months relevant Marketing experience from a B2B or B2C environment;
* Marketing experience within Food / Drink / FMCG would be good but not essential;
* Have an understanding of Trade Marketing, Retail / Wholesale routes to market;
* Bring a mix of Commercial awareness combined with Marketing savvy;
* Experience of utilising Social Media Platforms for Marketing purposes;
* Have a passion for the products, and the drive to always strive for better;
* Bring openness, personal energy, resilience and a strong desire to obtain excellent results;
* Experience of applications such as Hubspot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics would assist.
This role can be easily commuted to from the following areas: Carshalton, Croydon, Mitcham, New Malden, Morden, Sutton, Epsom, Thornton Heath, Surbiton, Beckenham, West Wickham, Purley, Coulsdon, Addington, Banstead, Penge, Eastfields, Norbury.
