Engineering Apprentice - Great opportunity

Job Description
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a great company and gain an Apprenticeship, working with industry experts in a friendly welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of this specialised sector.
The Apprenticeship will be a mix of online and Face to Face through Microsoft Education, there will also be the need to visit a external training centre 3 times during the course (So you must be flexible to travel for this)
The course covers the following areas, all of which you will gain first hand experience of on site:
Conduct thorough examinations and maintenance of equipment
Identify parts and timings required to carry out installation, repair and maintenance activities
Carry out maintenance and replace parts
Manage work allocation making use of IT and paper based planning systems
Carry out maintenance on manually operated appliances
Maintain mechanical tools and those needing calibration and ensure the workshop is kept tidy
Give guidance to customers and clients, including information on parts and accessories
Full assembly of products according to industry standards
Safely decommission equipment
Prepare reports using clear, concise language appropriate to the target audience
Maintain safety for self and othersSkills/Qualifications required:
Positive can do attitude
Willingness to learn and develop knowledge through extensive studies
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
An interest in engineering This is a full time/permanent opportunity and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: £22500 - £23000 per annum
