Ford Halewood Transmissions, a leader in electric vehicle technology, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Skilled Craftsman to join our team in our newly transformed Heat Treat Department.
As the first site in Europe to manufacture EV components, our Halewood facility is undergoing a significant transformation, and we are investing £355m into this cutting-edge project.
This role offers a competitive salary of £43,912 plus a comprehensive benefits package including:

Execute preventative and planned maintenance on high-temperature carburising furnaces, focusing on mechanical, electrical, PLC, and refrigeration systems.
Gather and analyse data to identify and implement machine improvements, enhancing performance and OEE.
Perform root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced and innovative environment.Ideal Candidate:
Completed Mechanical Level 4 Apprenticeship
Experience working in a heat treat production environment, specifically with high-temperature carburising furnaces
Strong proficiency in PLC and automation systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
