The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, seeks to hire an Assistant Program Manager (Clinical Project Coordinator Supervisor). The Assistant Program Manager will work with Dr. Anne Gregory on a grant-funded federal project, "Pathways Project: Expanding the Capacity of Newark Board of Education (NBOE) to Provide Effective Inclusive Mental Health Services." The Pathways Project will address training-to-employment pipeline challenges and expand mental health services in NBOE. A goal is to increase the number of school-based mental health providers (SBMHPs) delivering tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 mental health services in schools serving low income, culturally and linguistically diverse k-12 students.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:
* Facilitates Pathways Fellow selection, internship placements, and practicum placements that meet supervision requirements of the Pathway Fellows from Rutgers, New Brunswick School of Social Work and Department of School Psychology.
* Liaises with and supports school-based supervisors and makes regular site visits to NBOE schools to ensure high quality training experiences and compliance with Masters in Social Work and School Psychology program requirements.
* Designs the inclusive, empirically-based practices monthly seminar, coordinates guest speakers/trainers, and leads instruction with trainees and supervisors.
* Develops and implements undergraduate pipeline efforts and recruitment events with psychology and social work undergraduate majors in coordination with Rutgers, Newark faculty.
* Supports the project evaluator to ensure that NBOE schools and Pathways Fellows get technical assistance in completing evaluation tasks.
* Works toward sustainable NBOE training placements (practicum and internship) through advocacy, regular NBOE communications and long-term planning.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
* Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Certifications/Licenses
* A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Teaching, clinical and/or supervision experiences working with children, adolescents, and families in diverse communities and schools.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of evidence-based and inclusive mental health services.
* Good interpersonal skills to successfully partner with professionals in the schools, non-profits,and Rutgers.
Preferred Qualifications
* License or license-eligible as a Practicing Psychologist.
* Clinical and/or supervision experiences in schools working with children, adolescents, and families exposed to trauma.
* Masters in Social Work, Psy.D. or Ph.D. in school or clinical psychology.
Equipment Utilized
