Professor for Accounting (m/f/x)
Your Responsibilities
Teaching accounting and related courses to business students mainly at Bachelor level, but also in Master programs
Contributing to research in the field of accounting
Involvement in governance and committee work as well as institutional development
Our Requirements
Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
Commitment to high quality, up-to-date research in the field (demonstrated by either at least two peer-reviewed journal publications within the last five years or a doctoral degree obtained within the last three years)
Relevant work experience in the area accounting or related
International profile and teaching experience in German and English
All applicants must fulfill the formal requirements for the position of professor in Bavaria including:
Master degree and doctoral degree in a relevant field
Professional experience of at least five years, three of which must have been gained outside a university
Candidates who do not yet fully meet one of the two formal requirements (doctorate, professional experience) may be considered for a junior professorship and can fulfill the missing requirements within a specified period.
