Job Description
Job Title:Secondary Lining Section Engineer
Thorn Baker has teamed up with a national Award-winning civils contractorwho are looking for a dedicated and skilled Section Engineer to join our Major Projects Team. Day in, day out, their teams deliver some of the UK's most ambitious, exciting and meaningful projects; developing, building and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities.

£44kto £51k plus car
42% uplift on salary when you move to shift work (7 days on 3 days off)
Accommodation & Subsistence paid if travelling more than 1.5hrs to site

Required Skills:
Civil Engineering Degree
2-5 Years'site experience in Civil Engineering
Ability to manage a section site engineering team
Competent on CAD software and excel
SMSTS
Temporary Works Knowledge
Your Responsibilities:
Ensuring the Site Engineers are fully conversant with the construction methodology for the civil engineering works.
Managing the development of HSEQ controls for the civil engineering works.
Managing the detailed look-ahead programme for the civil engineering works.
Delegation of dimensional control to the Site engineers and ensuring that the Temporary and permanent Works are consistently and accurately set out.
Managing the calibration of survey equipment.
Safety management duties as delegated by line management.
Deputy to the Temporary Works Coordinator.
