Commercial Account Manager- Sheffield
Role Summary:

My client is seeking a proactive and dynamic Commercial Account Manager to join their Operations team. In this role, you will play a vital part in retaining and expanding the customer base, driving revenue growth, and boosting profit margins, all while contributing to the ongoing success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Management: Serve and support an allocated customer group, adhering to the Operations Department’s guidelines for existing clients.
* Growth & Marketing Plans: Create and implement growth and marketing strategies in line with objectives set by the Operations Director.
* Customer Engagement: Develop a structured calling pattern to achieve growth and marketing goals. Manage customer, prospect, and suspect activity, complete meeting reports, and ensure action points are executed.
* Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on SMR performance for allocated accounts, identifying trends and suggesting appropriate actions.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed reporting on prospects (graded hot/active/parked) and suspects, tracking their migration to higher engagement levels.
* Market Awareness: Stay informed about competitor activity, including products, services, and marketing approaches.
* Issue Resolution: Address customer issues promptly, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution through appropriate channels.
* Opportunity Identification: Identify and log new business opportunities and potential for expanding existing accounts.
What We’re Looking For:
* Industry Experience: Previous experience in the waste equipment sector, ideally within FM or Waste Management sectors, or a related field.
* Sales Expertise: Ability to drive new business and enhance existing accounts
* Tech-savvy: Active knowledge of social media and Marketing activity and familiarity with tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, LinkedIn, and CRM systems.
* Communication Skills: Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities.
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary: £35,000 per annum
* Bonus: Performance-linked bonus – OTE circa £40,000
* Full-time – Office Hours
